Mundo first began tattooing in Southeast Texas in 1994, mastering the craft and building a loyal following across the Golden Triangle. In 2004, he opened Tattoos By Mundo right here in Beaumont with a clear vision: bring serious, professional custom tattooing and body piercing to the community without metropolitan pretension or compromise.
While the shop has called a few locations across Beaumont home over the decades as the studio evolved, its unbroken dedication to the craft and the community has never wavered. Today, that legacy continues at our studio on Phelan Boulevard, serving generations of collectors, milestone pieces, and spontaneous first tattoos.

Yes! Walk-ins are always welcomed based on daily artist availability. For large-scale custom pieces or multi-session designs, calling ahead at (409) 212-8282 or emailing is recommended.
Pricing is determined by size, placement, complexity, and custom design time. Small or straightforward pieces receive flat quotes; larger custom works are hourly. *Please note: A $75 cancellation fee applies for scheduled appointments canceled without at least 24 hours' notice.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport). Eat a solid meal beforehand, stay well-hydrated, and wear comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the tattoo placement area.
Aubrey offers sterile piercings including child-safe earlobes. Minors must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian with the minor's state-issued birth certificate and a valid government-issued photo ID for the parent or guardian.
